Problem:
The old website wasn’t engaging users or driving them to take action. We needed a new design to encourage more interaction and reflect the credibility of the platform.
Approach:
I led the redesign as the sole designer, focusing on:
- Visual Appeal: Professional images and symbolic badges created trust, while the “How It Works” section used illustrations to simplify the process, leading to 31-second engagement and 400 events.
- Social Proof: Testimonials were integrated across the site, leading to a 58-second average on the Contact page, with 374 events, showing users were motivated to take action.
Outcome:
- In the first 10 weeks of going live, we received over 600 leads with 200 leads generated in in month alone.
- While direct traffic came mostly from our fundraising platform, the redesigned site saw total views triple to 1,732, driven by curiosity and organic search.
- User actions nearly doubled, with 5,104 events, showing that users were actively engaging with the site, not just visiting it.
- The 58-second visits and 374 events on the Contact page indicated that the design successfully encouraged deeper engagement.
Why It Worked:
The redesign made the site more engaging and trust-building, encouraging users who were curious about results to explore further. The user-friendly design, paired with powerful testimonials and visual cues, created an experience that motivated action and engagement.
