Challenge:
LaunchBack, our digital savings app, suffered from poor reviews due to a chaotic, untrustworthy design. The goal was to redesign the app to improve its rating, enhance trust, and simplify its functionality while incorporating two-factor authentication (2FA) for added security and integrating iSponsor, a third-party rebate program.
Approach:
- Aesthetic Overhaul: I revamped the design by using softer colors and improved text hierarchy to create a warmer, more inviting experience.
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): We added 2FA to secure the signup and login process, helping users feel more confident in the app’s security.
- User Experience & Navigation: I redesigned the app’s navigation to be more intuitive, with sleek icons and simplified actions.
- iSponsor Integration: We integrated iSponsor by creating a symbolic toggle between the two platforms, ensuring clear and concise messaging for users.
Outcome:
- Positive User Feedback: The new design has improved user engagement, and users have expressed more confidence in using the app due to the enhanced security features.
- Higher Trust: The visual improvements and 2FA have significantly boosted user trust.
- Increased Revenue: The addition of iSponsor and the carousel featuring ads is expected to increase both user participation and revenue.
